Defensible Space Cost Share Program Offering to reimburse residents for 50% of the cost of new qualifying defensible space projects, up to a maximum of $3,500 per property. Our funding is limited, so we will score projects on a set of objective criteria and notify the applicant as soon as a project is qualified. We hope to fund projects to be done before the 2023 fire season, so sign up soon. To learn more about this program visit: https://napafirewise.org/dspace/
Wildfire Resilience Action Program In cooperation with partners throughout Napa County, the Napa Communities Firewise Foundation (NCFF) has built a comprehensive Wildfire Resilience Action Program (WRAP) with the aim of reducing the risks and impacts of catastrophic wildfires on life and livelihoods throughout Napa County. Read more here: https://napafirewise.org/programs/wrap/
Chipper Program The Napa County Fire Department provides a free chipping service to all residents who live in designated fire hazard zone.  View more information here:  https://services.countyofnapa.org/chippingForm/
