My house was in the Marshall fire in Colorado. The house burned to the ground. My mortgage company is PennyMac. They will not release funds until the house is 75% complete. My builder wants money before they start to buy materials and hire workers. PennyMac has released enough funds for my builder to get started but my builder now need more funds to continue. PennyMac sent an inspector to my house and they said the house is 20% complete. PennyMac said the inspection failed you need to be 75% complete. My builder wants three installments. My mortgage company has not even release enough for the first installment. When I call the claims department I am not able to talk to someone that understands construction. Who can I contact for help?
