The next Larimer County Roadmap to Recovery meeting for High Park and Woodland Heights fire survivors takes place on Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the 1st Floor Hearing Room at the Larimer County Courthouse office Bldg., 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins.

This is the sixth Roadmap to Recovery session and the topic will be Insurance Claim Dispute Resolution Mechanisms: Negotiation, Mediation, Appraisal & Litigation. A Q&A period and insurance interest group breakout sessions will give attendees an opportunity to network with other fire survivors.

The speakers are Karen Reimus, Disaster Recovery Aid, Outreach and Education for United Policyholders, who will cover negotiation and mediation; Scott DeLuise, a Colorado-licensed public adjuster will explain appraisal; and Erin Kristoff, a Colorado-licensed attorney will explain litigation.

Portions of this meeting will be videotaped and made available at Larimer County’s High Park and Woodland Heights Fire website after the meeting: larimer.org/highparkfire/.
