Public officials to address crisis over home insurance

Hear from experts about how state officials are addressing the homeowner insurance crisis and how you can navigate the tools to help you obtain coverage for fire, floods and earthquakes.

Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin invites community members to attend an online town hall at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs., April 4 to address wildfire and disaster insurance concerns in California.

Speakers will provide insight, valuable information and strategies for navigating the current state of the California insurance market, Irwin said in a statement.

In addition to Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara, the special guest at the event are Alicia Weintraub, Calabasas mayor; Penny Sylvester, Agoura Hills mayor pro tem and Amy Bach of United Policy Holders.
