AL.com Alabama

In a series of stories Sunday, the Birmingham News, Huntsville Times and Press-Register showed the insurance struggles scores of Alabama homeowners are going through in the wake of the April 27 tornadoes. And hurricane season, which regularly creates insurance questions along the coast, has only just begun.

As part of the series, Press-Register business reporter Jeff Amy is holding a 2-day series of online chats to give Alabamians a chance to ask any pressing questions they may have about the often-frustrating insurance process.

Today at 2, a one-hour chat will be held with Amy Bach, the executive director of United Policyholders, a group that tries to help guide policyholders through the claims process.
