Yvette Venema serves as Administrative Assistant at United Policyholders, keeping the back end of the organization healthy and happy. A San Diego native, Yvette grew up with wildfire awareness as part of the culture. With a go kit packed at all times, she is a natural fit for this organization.

With a background working with small businesses, developing systems and protocols, compliance and HR basics, she provides support for staffers to make a big impact. In 2020, as the social world halted due to COVID, and worldwide disasters became so much more intimate, Yvette felt the pull to transition out of the for profit sector and find a way to connect and make a difference in the nonprofit world. Yvette’s organization skills and drive make her a perfect fit for this small but mighty organization.
