Renting out my home Tammy Claypoole asked 10 months ago
Renting out my home

Hi, my name is Tammy. I have a family renting out my home now due to a fire in their home. I wanted to see how I can keep helping the insurance companies, instead of put these families in hotels or sending them to live with other family members. My home is in Conneaut Lake Pa. It has 5 bedrooms, all furnished with beds, dressers. Stove, refrigerator, dining room, table and chairs, living room with couch and love seat. Could you please direct me in the right direction?

Thank You, Tammy Claypoole

Answer for Renting out my home United Policyholders Staff answered 9 months ago

Hi Tammy,

It’s very generous of you to rent your home to people displaced by a fire. Unfortunately United Policyholders is not involved in finding homes for people who need temporary living space. You may want to reach out to insurance companies in your area to let them know your property is available for this purpose. You can also try reaching out to the Red Cross or another organization that provides services in case of a natural disaster.
