Katie Oliver serves as Executive Assistant for Executive Director Amy Bach and supports the organization’s Roadmap to Preparedness, Roadmap to Recovery, and Advocacy and Action programs. A Ventura County, CA native, Katie grew up with wildfire awareness and was impacted by the Thomas Fire in 2017.
Her varied professional background includes working for prestigious law firms as well as in the service industry and, combined with her wildfire experience, made her a natural fit for United Policyholders’ work to support insurance consumers, particularly during this time of climate crisis. Her future goal is to put her talents to good use and become a lawyer who protects the rights of the people and fights for the little guy.
Katie holds a Bachelors of Art degree from UC Berkeley in Legal Studies.
