Ammi Ludwick joined Team UP in October 2023 as our Consumer Communications Manager, supporting our Roadmap to Recovery events and administering our Ask an Expert consumer help forum.  Despite losing her own home in the 2021 Marshall wildfire in Colorado, Ammi completed over a year of service to her fellow wildfire survivors and community as a Recovery Navigator Supervisor for the Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountain Disaster Case Management team. Ammi’s background is in non-profit organizational development, education, volunteer management, and program design. She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of California and her master’s degree from Loyola University, Chicago.  As a native of San Diego and a student in the vicinity of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and 1991 Oakland Hills Firestorm, Ammi has extensive personal experience with disaster response and recovery.
