Alexis Ricci is a seasoned Property and Casualty insurance professional with 20+ years’ experience, currently serving as United Policyholders’ Development and Program Specialist, supporting our mission to educate and empower insurance consumers nationwide.

Alexis’ prior experience includes claims adjudication for insurance carriers (SAFECO, Liberty, Hartford, CSAA) and for homeowner/business owners (Public Adjuster). She is an expert in policy analysis, damage estimating, and vendor management, with a focus on fair and accurate claims processing and payment, repair/remediation/rebuilding, and consumer education.

Alexis’s passion for consumer advocacy began while adjudicating claims for carriers. She continually fought for timely and accurate claim settlements and correct policy interpretations, witnessing first-hand the emotional, physical, and financial impact of these events on homeowners and businesses. She is passionate about educating and supporting disaster-impacted people and communities and supporting the loss indemnification purpose of insurance.

A graduate of University of California, Davis and Northern California native, Alexis currently splits time between Ashland, Oregon and Cascade, Idaho.  She has witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of climate change and wildfires and the importance of preparedness and insurance recovery information; her own community was affected by the 2023 Idaho wildfires.
