Do you have any contractors that that specialize in preparing complete rebuild estimates to submit to insurance? We recently lost our home in Altadena and received an initial estimate from our insurance company that we believe is low. Most GCs do not know how to prepare the right kind of report for the prior house. I see a few experts listed on your site, but are based in Northern California.

While UP cannot recommend specific contractors in y our area, we would recommend that you review our Professional Help directory for local contractors in your area that may be able to prepare a comparable rebuild estimate for your loss. The directory lists the main location of professionals, but many are working throughout the state to assist consumers.
