Town of Paradise Residential Ignition Resistant Improvement Program |
This program aims to provide financial assistance for eligible improvements that enhance the resilience of homes that withstood the Camp Fire in the Town of Paradise, ultimately making them more fire resistant and safer for their occupants.
The program is limited to $90,000 in improvements per property. The property owner is responsible for 25% of the total cost of improvements. Contact Vickie Jacobs |

ReCoverCA Owner-Occupied Mitigation (OOM) Grant | Eligible Home Hardening & Mitigation Costs Include: • Debris clearance, demolition, landscaping, repairs, etc. that increase the level of protection from future wildfires and disasters. • Defensible Space and Home Hardening activities that increase resilience and reduce or eliminate long-term risks and impacts of future disasters. • Activities that assist in bringing a home and property up to code with Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) standards. |

Vegetation Management Program (VMP) CAL FIRE | This program offers controlled burns/mechanical management of fire hazard materials. VMP connects private landowners to CAL FIRE for this service.
