and the Bureau of Land Management National Park Service are responsible for wildland fire protection. Areas of LRA are covered by local fire departments. Western San Bernardino county is a complex mixture of LRA
, SRA
, and FRA
with municipal fire departments, the San Bernardino Unit of CAL FIRE, the San Bernardino National Forest, the National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management having jurisdiction on their respective areas. Some areas may be protected by a cooperating agency under the CFMA.
