Natascha Drekonja is the founder of Never Summer Law, LLC, and is a strong advocate for policy owner rights. Natascha has more than three decades of experience at the intersection of law and insurance — first inside the industry and then fighting for the people it sometimes fails. That knowledge of the insurance industry and her strong understanding of insurance contracts positions her clients for success.
Natascha doesn’t just practice law — she works to change it. She uses her expertise and voice to effectuate needed legislative and policy changes. After the East Troublesome and Marshall fires, she worked with legislators and the Colorado Division of Insurance to passHB 22-1111 that enhanced policyholder rights and strengthened consumer protections.
Deeply invested in and passionate about the mountain communities she loves, Natascha regularly presents workshops on insurance issues and wildfire preparedness. She believes that an informedpolicyholder is a well-protected policyholder.
Born and raised in Austria, she grew up with a love of the mountains and is happy to call Grand County home. When she’s not in the office, she can be found out in the mountains she loves — skiing, xc-skiing, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, boating, and sailing with friends and family.
