Richard “Rick” P. Tutwiler, CPIA, PCLS, is President and CEO of Tutwiler & Associates Public Adjusters, Inc., a second-generation public adjusting firm founded in 1984. Rick is a licensed Public Adjuster and All-Lines Adjuster based in Florida and is licensed in 14 states, including Rhode Island and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Rick specializes in large-loss property insurance claims, complex coverage disputes, and the appraisal process. He is a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA) and is WIND Certified as both an Appraiser and Umpire.

Since beginning his career in 2005, Rick has handled major catastrophes across the country, including Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Irma, Maria, Ian, and others, as well as tornado and winter storm losses. He is frequently asked to speak at industry conferences, provide testimony to regulatory bodies, and comment in national media on consumer claim issues.

Rick is committed to ethical claim handling and helping policyholders understand their rights and options during the claim and recovery process.
