Bob Rutter is a nationally recognized insurance coverage attorney with more than 35 years of experience representing policyholders in disputes with insurance companies. He has successfully litigated complex coverage and bad faith cases, including arguing and winning two landmark decisions before the Ohio Supreme Court that helped define insurance bad faith law in the state.

After beginning his career representing insurers, Bob co-founded Rutter & Russin in 1991 and shifted his practice to exclusively advocate for policyholders. His work focuses on helping individuals and businesses recover benefits owed under their policies following property losses and other claim disputes.

Bob is a frequent speaker and published author on insurance law and has held leadership roles within the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Association for Justice.
