Spring and Summer storms are wreaking havoc in the midwest. A swath of counties in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota saw rainfall that ranged anywhere from 5 to 8 inches in most areas and as much as 15 inches in some spots. As rainfall reached area streams and rivers, record flooding was observed at numerous river points, leading to widespread devastating flooding in the towns along the rivers.
