Defensible Space Assistance for Seniors and Disabled Persons | Gold Ridge Forest Fire Safe Council is providing free defensible space assistance in their area for seniors, disabled vets, and low income residents.

Woodstove Replacement Incentive Program | The El Dorado Air Quality Management District is offering incentives for homeowners to remove or replace older woodstoves.

Chipper Program – Western Slope | The El Dorado Fire Safe Council is offering free chipper services to western slope homeowners through a grant.

West Slope Hazardous Tree Removal Program | The EDCFSC has received State grant funds to provide hazardous tree removal for individual homeowners on the West Slope of El Dorado County who wish to improve the safety of their property and community. This is a cost share program between the El Dorado County Fire Safe Council and those who own their home, to help mitigate the costs of felling dead and dying trees.
