Michael Stoycheff is an Executive Adjuster with American Claims LLC, where he represents residential and commercial policyholders in complex property insurance claims. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in construction, restoration, insurance adjusting, and claims advocacy, Michael helps clients navigate the claims process and secure fair insurance settlements.

Michael’s background includes hands-on construction of single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties in Ohio, Florida, and Colorado, with a specialization in high-end residential & Commercial construction and restoration. He later managed two large restoration companies in Colorado, giving him extensive expertise in property damage assessment, reconstruction, estimating, and project management.

Before becoming a public adjuster, Michael worked as an independent insurance adjuster in Florida, where he gained firsthand knowledge of the claims handling practices, policies, and procedures of numerous insurance carriers. This unique perspective enables him to evaluate claims from both the insurer’s and policyholder’s viewpoints, helping clients identify overlooked damages, properly document losses, and maximize their insurance recoveries.

Michael is an active member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) and has served on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (RMAPIA) for 6 years. He is licensed in multiple states and regularly assists homeowners, businesses, condominium and homeowners associations, and commercial property owners with complex property insurance claims, including losses caused by fire, water, wind, hail, and other catastrophic events.
