Placer County Chipper Program | The Placer County Resource Conservation District offers Vegetation Chipping services at $80 per hour or free for low income households or those with a disabled/handicap vehicle placard.

Placer County Resource Conservation District Fire Safety Technical Assistance Program | This program provides help with finding potential cost-share opportunities and technical assistance with mitigation actions including defensible space, home hardening, fuels reduction and management, prescribed burning, and timber harvest.

Firewise Trailer Education Program | This program provides a rentable trailer that includes equipment, tools, and other information as a way to help landowners achieve defensible space and stay safe. It includes weed wrenches, a weed eater, leaf blower, pruners, loppers, shovels, brooms, rakes, electric chainsaws, and Firewise education material.

Defensible Space Fuels Reduction Program | This program exists to assist vulnerable residents in creating defensible space around their homes and properties. The program offers financial assistance of up to $5,000 per property to eligible property owners in Placer County who are low-income and elderly or disabled
