United Policyholders is pleased to join the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud. The Coalition is a unique alliance of stakeholders with a shared objective of combating insurance fraud. Insurance fraud is committed by people submitting false or inflated claims and insurance company reps that engage in deceptive sales and claims practices. All types of insurance fraud hurt the policyholders we serve. Insurance fraud wastes time and money and leads to higher premiums. Coalition Against Insurance Fraud members includes policyholder advocates, insurance company representatives, and other interested parties. The Coalition helps educate and increase awareness of the impact of fraud, advocates for appropriate laws and regulations, and serves as a source of information and expertise.
