United Policyholders hosted a Roadmap to Recovery Insurance Orientation workshop for Thomas Fire Survivors in Ventura on Monday, January 22nd from 6-8pm. The workshop was led by 1991 Oakland/Berkeley firestorm survivor and UP Board Chair Sue Piper at the Board of Supervisors’ Hearing Room at 800 S Victoria Street in Ventura. Thank you, City of Ventura and FEMA for participating in providing information and guidance to the audience of over 200 wildfire-impacted people.
There was a Q&A session after the workshop and copies of the Disaster Recovery Handbook were distributed to all survivors.
