To help all El Paso County residents with insurance questions United Policyholders, an experienced non-profit consumer group, will be hosting another one of its nationally recognized “Roadmap to Recovery” workshops from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9. This workshop is entitled “Buy, Rebuild or Cash Out” and will cover options for replacing your home.
The workshop will also have discussions on filling insurance gaps, financial planning information, and loan and construction financing options.
The workshop is free and is at the Woodmen Heights Campus of Woodmen Valley Chapel, 8292 Woodmen Valley View near the intersection of Woodmen Road and Marksheffel Road). There will be plenty of room to accommodate residents from throughout the area with insurance questions. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
Supported by grants and donations, United Policyholders has previously helped Colorado homeowners following the 2012 Waldo Canyon and High Park wildfires in partnership with Boulder and Larimer Counties. The organization offers a free online library of tips and tools and has a large volunteer corps that includes numerous Colorado residents.
