The Los Padres National Forest provides wildland fire protection for
FRA
and some SRA
land for the National Forest and BLM lands in the south/southeast part of the county. The remaining SRA
is under the jurisdiction of the San Luis Obispo Unit of CAL FIRE. LRA
, primarily urban and agricultural land, is covered by local and county fire departments.
