Ventura County is home to the Ventura County Wildfire Collaborative (VCWC), consisting of Ventura County Resource Conservation District, Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council, Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council, Bell Canyon Fire Safe Council, Ventu Park Fire Safe Council, Oak Park Fire Safe Council, and a private industry partner, Jensen Hughes (see the Fire Safe Councils tab below). The VCWC is working on county-wide goals, including risk mapping, vulnerability assessments, evacuation planning, home hardening, and a regional Wildfire Summit.
