Through our Roadmap to Recovery® program, you can access free, trustworthy help navigating the process of returning to a wildfire damaged area, repairing and replacing damaged and destroyed property, and collecting all available insurance funds. If your property is damaged or was destroyed, our guidance is here to help you get started on the road to recovery, make good decisions and keep moving forward.

UNITED POLICYHOLDERS (UP) CONTINUES TO SERVE LA COUNTY WILDFIRE SURVIVORS

United Policyholders staff and volunteers are no longer staffing tables at the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs), but we are continuing to provide Roadmap to Recovery services, webinars, clinics and will be offering updated guidance, publications and help to impacted households throughout the long term recovery.

DEBRIS REMOVAL

Your options are to participate in the Coordinated Debris Removal Program or hire a private contractor. To learn more about that program, visit recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal. Scroll down to the “Getting Debris Removed” library section in this library for additional options. Deadline to complete Right of Entry Form – March 31, 2025


APPLY FOR FEMA ASSISTANCE – DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 31

People in an area declared a federal disaster can apply for assistance through FEMA, even if you have insurance. Survivors can apply for federal aid, even if insured. Disaster assistance may be able to fill insurance gaps or provide help if you’ve been waiting more than 30 days on a homeowner’s claim. Check the FEMA website for updates. Assistance may also be available through local and state governments and charitable agencies.
